(1) The government of Nepal shall bear the treatment expenses incurred when the head of the state is admitted to a hospital in the country and is treated in a hospital in the country, or when treatment is not available in Nepal and he goes abroad for treatment on the recommendation of the medical board.

(2) The province Government of Nepal will provide reasonable expenses of one person for the cost of hospitalization if he has to stay in hospital after being admitted to a major hospital.

(3) The amount for the treatment expenses according to sub-section (1) shall be paid by the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers to the hospital where the provincial head is admitted. Will pay.
